Crane rigger wanted in Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Perry County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Full-time with occasional weekends.
