Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers.
