Concrete pump mate wanted in Worcestershire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Worcestershire, England. You will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
