Joiner — Newton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a joiner in Newton County, Georgia. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Full-time, day shift.
