Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Sacramento County, California. The role involves: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
