Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
