Quality checker wanted in Caroline County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality checker in Caroline County, Maryland. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
