We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Owan East, Edo. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
