Vertical transportation technician wanted in Kearny County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Kearny County, Kansas. The job is on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
