Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Hanover County, Virginia. The job is at an infrastructure site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour 4+ years on the tools preferred.
