Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Darlington, England. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Your main tasks: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Full-time, day shift.
