Domestic gas engineer wanted in Stewart County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Stewart County, Tennessee. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
