Crane rigger — Shenandoah County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will work at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
