We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Morgan County, West Virginia. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
