Gas pipeline fitter • Smyth County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
