PVC window installer wanted in Gateshead

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Gateshead, England. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
