Immediate opening: gas service engineer (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Your main tasks: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
