Urgent requirement: rigger (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Thomas County, Kansas. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
