Gas pipe fitter • Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
