Offshore rigger • Madison County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Madison County, New York. Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
