Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Angelina County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Angelina County, Texas. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
