Toolroom milling operator • Orangeburg County, South Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
