Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Union County, North Carolina. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Rotating shifts.
