Concrete labourer • Monona County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Monona County, Iowa. You will work at an infrastructure site. Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
