Scaffolding labourer • Isle of Wight County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. The job is at a shipyard. You will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns 6+ years on the tools preferred.
