Slinger signaller wanted in Sumner County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will be based at a container port. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
