Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Colorado County, Texas. The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
