Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Nassarawa, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Performance bonus on top of base pay.
