Lifting rigger wanted in Oswego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Oswego County, New York. You will be based at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
