Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Belknap County, New Hampshire. Your main tasks: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
