Gang bricklayer — Oregon County

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Oregon County, Missouri. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
