Metal caster — Lincoln County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Lincoln County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
