Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Fannin County, Texas. The job is on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
