Gas meter installer wanted in Hampden County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Hampden County, Massachusetts. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration The role involves: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply 1+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
