Painter and decorator — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Day to day you will sand and fill walls before applying primer; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
