Milling machinist wanted in Lane County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lane County, Kansas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Part-time with flexible hours.
