Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Daviess County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
