Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fitter in Ivo, Ebonyi State. Day-to-day duties: • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Requirements: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Own hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
