HSE officer wanted in Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Lee County, North Carolina. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
