Gas meter installer wanted in Linn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Linn County, Iowa. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply.
