Abattoir worker — Crook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Crook County, Wyoming. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
