Auto-electrical fitter wanted in Westmoreland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto-electrical fitter in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will work at a commercial vehicle fleet depot. Day-to-day duties: • Solder and heat-shrink wiring joints • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking Ideal candidate: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Steady hands for soldering fine connections • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
