Rigger wanted in Ballard County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
