Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
