Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Coconino County, Arizona. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Your main tasks: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
