Industrial sewing operator — Crawford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Crawford County, Indiana. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Full-time with occasional weekends.
