Stainless steel welder — Borough of Bolton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Borough of Bolton, England. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. £100 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
