Steel fixing chargehand — San Miguel County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in San Miguel County, Colorado. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
