Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in White County, Arkansas. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture 5+ years on the tools preferred.
