Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Los Angeles County, California. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Day to day you will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
